LEARN LUDO

Ludo questions, answered

Do you need a six to start in Ludo?

In the common version, yes. Roll a six to move a token from your yard to its starting square.

Do you get another turn after a six?

Many Ludo games allow an extra roll after a six. Confirm this before playing because house rules can differ.

Can you capture on a safe square?

Normally no. A safe square protects a token from capture. Look for the star or special marker on your board.

Do you need an exact roll to get home?

Usually yes. If your roll is too high and no other token can move, your turn ends.

Can two tokens share a square?

Some groups allow a blockade with two same-colour tokens; others do not. Agree the rule before the first roll.

Is Ludo a real-money game?

Not on Learn Ludo. Our intended game links are for free social play only, with no deposits or cash prizes.
